Easing habitual convergence

Rather then try to force someone to change their routine and get into arguments every time they violate one of the common rules of living together, use sticky notes placed throughout the house at strategic places to remind them of the expected behavior. They will be more compliant due to repeated reminders and this helps them turn compliance into a habit. As habits take months to develop into automated practices. It is actually a problem with us if we expect a habit to be automated instantly.
