I’m going ahead and scheduling the First Monday of Every Month for reviewing and merging pull requests. This should help sustain the projects and the organisations that depend on them.
My own focus will largely be to automate this review and release process on these days and for these days, such that I can streamline the process of empowering contributors to become maintainers, at their own capacity, and on their own time, without bottlenecks of others.
