What are the current hurdles with helping out?

It would be great to have more maintainers on the core and extras team to help us out. So how can we accomplish this? Two questions to kick it off:

  1. What are the current hurdles interfering with contributor acquisition? How can we inject more maintainers?
  2. What are the current hurdles interfering with the task of maintenance? How can we make maintainers lives easier?

Recorded Hangouts, segmented into different areas of contribution/maintaining DocPad and other Bevry projects is a good idea in my opinion. This would take a little fore-planning. :pencil2: :page_facing_up:
